When a fence has a job to do beyond marking a boundary, the details matter. Security fencing has to deter the casual intruder, slow down the determined one, and stand up to weather and wear for years. All American Fence designs and installs high-security perimeter fencing for businesses, industrial sites, utilities, and homeowners who want serious protection — and we have been doing it across the region for more than 26 years.
What makes a fence a security fence
Height and rigidity come first. Security runs are typically 7 to 8 feet tall, built on heavier posts and framework than a standard residential fence so they resist climbing, cutting, and impact. From there we add the features a site actually needs: barbed-wire or razor-wire toppers on angled arms, tighter mesh that is hard to get a foothold on, and reinforced bottom rails to stop anyone crawling under.
Access control is the other half of security. We hang heavy-duty gates — swing or cantilever slide — sized for the vehicles that use them, and we can rough-in for the electric operators, keypads, and card readers your access system requires.
Materials built to resist and endure
Most of our security work is heavy-gauge galvanized chain link, chosen for its strength, visibility, and value — you can see through it, which is often exactly what a security manager wants. Where a site needs more, we build with tighter anti-climb mesh, welded panels, or ornamental steel and aluminum with spear tops that are as tough as they are professional-looking.
Everything is galvanized or coated to fight corrosion, because a security fence that rusts out is a security fence that fails.
Deterrence you can see
A visible, well-built perimeter is one of the most cost-effective security investments a property owner can make. It signals that a site is managed and defended, channels foot traffic to controlled entry points, and buys the time that cameras and alarms need to matter. We help you put that barrier where it counts.
